Mr Nobody interview + Europe tour

Jared Leto almost lost his mind by the strange film "Mr Nobody"

Movie star. Rockstar.
Jared Leto stars in the strange film "Mr Nobody".
He soon releases his third album and will go on a European tour.
"Mr Nobody" had its premiere on the friday evening. Jared Leto then flies directly to USA to record with his band 30 Seconds to Mars.

Europe tour
-The album is named "This Is War" and Steve Lillywhite is one of the producers. Kanye West is on a song called "Hurricane", says Jared Leto, 38. I wrote it in Berlin during the winter.

-We're going to tour in november across Europe. Everywhere, I hope. The music has been a gift and we have wonderful fans in Europe.
What does the music give compared to the movies?
-An album is like to write, produce, direct and play your own movie. To be like Woody Allen.
"Mr Nobody" is made by the Belgian Jaco van Dormael. It follows Nemo Nobody from the youth to a future where he is 119 years old. Nemo remembers different versions of life, with different loves, families, countries.

"Made me insane"
It brings the thoughts to "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "Amelie from Montmartre". The film cost 400 million kronor ( xD haha sorry can't convert atm ) to shoot.
-It was fantastic but also a fucking nightmare. I told Jaco that he drove me insane. He had to draw an outline over the whole film to show how it connected. I think I play twelve different versions of Nemo.
You could have called it "Finding Nemo".
-Yeah, ha ha ha. I should have come up with that joke.

LOWDOWN: Jared Leto's band had a breakthrough with their 2005 sophomore album, but "Then we went to go make another record," Leto says, "and the world fell apart." The band quit their contract following a financial dispute; their label countered with a $30 million lawsuit. As a result, 30STM recorded their third album DIY-style, in a "dungeon-like" studio in Leto's Hollywood Hills home, with producer Flood (U2, the Killers) at the helm. Songs like "Night of the Hunter" and the Kanye West-featuring "Hurricane" are dark and menacing, with lyrics about destruction and revenge, but Leto says the album as a whole is more upbeat. "There's a sense of optimism and joy that was missing from the last records," he says. "It's sort of about the American dream."

30 Seconds To Mars are back with a new single, a new album and now they've announced a one-off London show too.

Playing Camden's Koko on November 16th, it's sure to be an intimate sweat-fest! It'll also be the first opportunity for fans to hear tracks from the forthcoming album 'This Is War', out on December 7th.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am from here and are priced at £17.50.

30 Seconds To Mars back in France in November 11 th 2009

The group of brothers Leto is back a year after his last visit to Paris for a concert at La Cigale. Seats are on sale this week.

In an intimate room that 30 Second To Mars will occur November 11, 2009. The rock band led by brothers Leto will be in concert at La Cigale in Paris. Spaces are put on sale from Friday, October 2.

A passage in secret while the group had given in February 2008 a full concert at the Zenith in Paris. The group, which has already passed the million albums worldwide, will present on this occasion his new album, released in late November, "This is War".  The album was produced by Flood (U2, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails), Steve Lillywhite (The Rolling Stones, U2) and the group itself. The album is preceded by first single, "Kings and Queens".

30 Seconds To Mars confirm London show!

30 Seconds To Mars will preview tracks from their forthcoming album, This Is War, at a one-off show at London's Koko on November 16.

Tickets will be available from October 2 via wwwaloud.com.

This Is War will be released on December 7. A single, Kings And Queens will be released on November 29.

30 Seconds to Mars are about to release their lead single 'Kings and Queens,' off their forthcoming album 'This Is War.' This is 30 Seconds to Mars' third studio album (following their 2005's 'A Beautiful Lie') which will also include a song titled 'Hurricane,' featuring Kanye West and The Killers' frontman Brandon Flowers. The album doesn't hit stores until Oct. 20, but you can listen to their debut single 'Kings and Queens' starting Tuesday, Oct. 6 on AOL Radio's Top Alternative station.
